Preparing for a PHONE interview

Phone interviews are the first step in the hiring process. It is a common phenomenon in large companies when the job is located in different city. The phone interview itself will not fetch you the job, but a successful conversation/discussion can lead you to the next round. Before the phone interview, make sure of the following:

Telephonic Interview

• Have enough battery on your phone
• Attend the call in a quiet place
• Review the job description
• Understand the company’s business
• Have your set of questions/queries ready
• Prepare answers to all the basic questions
• Listen carefully
• Smile when talking - it will show in your voice
